Barging has long been the means to bring equipment, employees and material to islands or other areas where land travel is not a viable option. Equipped with 2 barges and a small fleet of boats, we can accommodate not only “drive to” jobs but welcome the often more challenging water access jobs as well. Our barges enable us to haul our own excavation equipment, do heavy construction, crib dock repair and construction, steel dock construction, general contracting in a cost effective manner that was not formally feasible, as well as recovering sunken boats. We not only transport building materials and aggregates to your water access project but quite often deliver furniture and appliances as well. Having our barges enables us to pass along to our customers better value and gives us greater control over projects by not having to outsource to a 3rd party barging service.

Our barges which both have a 30 ton capacity are transportable by road so whether your project is in Halliburton County, Lake of Bays, Almaguin or on just about any body of water within the territory we cover, we are there to meet your needs. As your contractor we will invest in extensive front-end time to fully understand the functionality of a new building. Working with your wish list we consider every factor from the number of occupants, to aesthetics, time frames, future additions and landscaping. Once we are confident that our vision and yours are in tune we bring Architects and Engineers to the team and start with preliminary drawings. Upon your approval, the drawings are amended if needed, further developed and the pricing process begins ultimately presenting to you initial cost estimates and schedules.

Upon approval of the design concept and cost proposal, our team will prepare detailed architectural, structural and mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications needed for permit submissions. Materials with predictably long lead times or critical materials will be ordered well in advance in order to keep your project on track. Our project managers then prepare to hire the sub trades and we are ready for construction to begin!

Once the permits are obtained, the ground breaking begins and we start to build. On site meetings are arranged to keep you informed on the progress and email pictures are also sent on a regular basis.
